[Emmy at nine months]

 NINE MONTHS
Emmy Honey
  • Emmy is in a happy/sad stage! She can flip at any given moment. We still love her!
  • Emmy crawls like a CHAMP! She is all over the place and always getting into dads things when he is gone.
  • She is getting closer and closer to walking. She likes to stand up and pulls herself up onto everything.
  • Emmy is a total MOMMA'S GIRL! It's a bittersweet thing for me. I love that she wants to be with me, but it also means that she wants me ALL THE TIME!
  • She can also be very independent though, likes to just play ans sit with herself and explore this big new world.
  • She is a misses chatter box, talks all day long and has the BEST giggles around. Emmy is ticklish EVERYWHERE! She melts my heart.
  • Emmy loves all foods, she will eat anything! We eat all sorts of things now that she is old enough and we don't just have to have baby food.
  • Emmy and I are still breastfeeding with a little bit of formula each day to help her grow. If you have seen her, you know how small she is and we are trying to help her chunk up a bit more!
  • Emmy puts everything she can in her mouth!
  • She now has her two front bottom teeth, and almost both top front teeth! (one is taking a little longer to bust through)
  • TEETHING IS THE WORST!!! I HATE HATE HATE IT! FYI-  The gels do not work! Go with teething tabs.
  • Emmy loves to say dada, it is easily her favorite! She does say mama at times though!

I love our little girl so much! There is a special place in the heart for our little ones... I hope that she will continue to grow healthy and strong and keep being so spirited and fun!

Brooks' Birth Story

Brooks' pregnancy was by far my hardest. The struggles with sickness, body pain in every way including a hernia, and the mental battles that I faced was almost too much for me. I know without a doubt that the Lord was aware of me and made up for that which I couldn't.  The only fun part of this pregnancy was not knowing what we were having! I still cannot even believe that I did this! It was such a challenge and by 30 weeks I was aching to nest and had no clue what to nest for! In the end I absolutely loved finding out at birth and will probably do it again!  We ended up moving in June which left me traveling about an hour to my doctor for my appointments. It was 100% worth it and I WILL do it again with my last. He is the best doctor I have ever had and the nursing staff and everyone around was fantastic to say the least! Hospital included. (I'll get to them later!)  Once I got about three weeks from my due date I requested for my membranes to be s...

Our trip to meeting baby Karter!

Hey y'all! So the start of our trip did not go as planned... Our flight was delayed unfortunately. We waited an extra 1.5 hours for our flight to finally leave from Mesa, AZ. This gave me some mad anxiety... I am not a frequent flyer and planes just make me nervous. Luckily on the flight I was able to sit next to two other LDS women! They were so nice and right away they asked if I was LDS! I said yes and they said there was an ora about me and they could tell. (BEST COMPLIMENT)!! We had good conversation and laughs during the flight! It was a bumpy flight and as great as they were, I was just ready to be done with it! We flew into Ogden, UT where my sis-in-law picked Emmy and I up! (Sorry you had to wait so long Lotto). We got into Logan, UT and grabbed some late night dinner (I was starving!!) then we went straight over to my sisters house! ...................... ......... How absolutely precious is this little man?! I miss the newborn baby stage where it is constan...
