Merry & Bright

I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR PEOPLE!!  We went to one of my favorite spots to take photos and did some of the kids for the holiday season! (+ we had to add in our FAV football team into the photos. GO BRONCOS!)  The holidays have become more and more fun every year as our family grows in both age and size. This will be our first Christmas with a family of four and I am so excited. Riggins and Emmy are already all over the presents under the tree and Riggs may have opened one or two as well. (Good thing I can rewrap them.)  I hope that everyone has a happy holiday season and that we can hug our little ones extra tight and love on them. You haven't seen the true enjoyment of the holidays until you see it through a child's eyes. They make everything so much more meaningful and enjoyable. Take time to be with your loved ones and enjoy the simple things that this season brings.  We got way more of bubba becomes Emmy will not sit still. HAPPY HO...

I ran.

As some of you may know me well, you know that I do not care for running. I don't mind running for sports like softball, but something about just plain running is not appealing to me. Ever since Tyson and I have been married he has been trying to get me to go running and to like it. Tyson however, is a big runner. Super good at it and ran cross country and track in high school. It is so easy for him! We have been married 4 years now and I finally decided to run. My family (the Davis Clan) do the Turkey Trot every year, it's their tradition. This year I decided that I wanted to join in with everyone and do the race as well! Well, we got there with only like 5 minutes before the race started and still had to wait in a line to get our numbers. We started the race alone. I had such good entertainment the entire race. Tyson, my brother-in-law Steven and our friend Scott all ran and it was so much fun!! They kept me going and kept me entertained to say the least. All in all it was...

Cheers to Four Years

I have been married for four years... Those words are just crazy to say. I met the man who would change my life for the better just over four years ago. When we were dating it seemed like time just stood still for us. We were dating for just six months before we were engaged and then married two short months after that. When we tell people that they are always so surprised by how quickly we got married and how we never gave our dating enough time. But, like I said.. Time stood still for us. The Lord was so mindful of us both. Somehow he managed to hold still time for us to get the adequate time we needed to grow a love for one another. It felt like I had been with him for years, I could not have imagined life being anything else or what it was ever like before him. He just fit perfectly. Almost like a puzzle piece that just perfectly fits into that spot. There was no forcing it in there, or trying to shape it differently, no twisting and turning it, it just fit. He was my perfect piece...

Easter Sunday of 2016

EASTER! I love all holidays! The weekend before Easter Tyson had to work. Our community was having a fun spring festival with an easter egg hunt and free lunch. They had face paintings and sidewalk chalk drawing and all kinds of bounce houses and what not! I took Emmy over to the festival Saturday and she loved it! She was scared to death of the Easter Bunny so you won't be seeing a photo with the two of them anytime soon! Riggins was born Thursday. We just got out of the hospital on Saturday and Sunday was Easter. There was no way I wasn't still going to celebrate and make Easter fun this year for Emmy. After we got her to bed. We hid eggs all over the house and also her basket. (just basically hid it in plain sight haha) We did a jelly bean trail out to the living room and then we hit the sack. When we woke up, Tyson went in and got Emmy and I videoed her coming out! It was the sweetest thing ever. She came out, followed the trail of jelly beans and instead of ...
