My Favorite Hair Goods

Hey you guys. I decided to list my favorite hair products that I use weekly. I really do love my hair and try to take care of it the best that I can within my means!

I have the white or platinum blonde color of hair and to keep it from going yellow I use purple shampoo. I think that my hair holds color really well so I don't have to use it as often as others. I probably use the purple shampoo once a week and wash my hair 2-3 times a week. I was using the purple shampoo every wash and the front pieces of my hair were turning purple or blue and still do sometimes. Some people have to leave it in a while longer to make it effective. I however do not and I use it like regular shampoo, on and off. This brand that I am sharing with you today is easily the best one I have used and it works very well. I would recommend this one to anyone. You can find it on amazon and search for Fanola No Yellow Shampoo or click here. It's only $10!

Next up is how I keep my hair from looking nasty when I only wash it 2-3 times a week. Batiste is thus far my favorite brand I have tried. Anyone else have a favorite they like? I get just the Original one and love the smell. I'm sure that all of Batiste smell amazing! Other than the smell, I also love how little amount you need. I've used brands where I felt like I had to use half the can to make it work. So Batiste is my go-to for smell and quality. You can find it basically anywhere, but I get mine at Target. Click here to get a direct link to some. Only $6 people.

Third up is my leave-in-spray from Garnier. I love this stuff. Winter has my whole body so dry and I can tell that my hair is struggling right now. I will spray on some of this to keep my hair looking hydrated and healthy. You hardly have to use any to get the results. Too much will have your hair greasy in a day. So use with care! I also suggest using in on damp hair and then combing through with a wet brush to even it through the hair. Another tip that I do is I only use it on my ends. Never up in my roots. Find it here and try it out! Only $5.

Then last but not least, my MOST FAVORITE shampoo and conditioner from Costco. I love ther Kirkland brand at Costco. Their conditioner leaves my hair feeling so good. LIKE SO GOOD! Then I use the matching shampoo for the times that I am not using my purple shampoo. See the conditioner here and the shampoo here.  (You cannot purchase these online, they are warehouse only!)

I seriously love these products and won't ever share anything I haven't tried and love. Let me know what hair products you guys love to use in the comments below. I always love finding more and new things that can benefit my hair. Please feel free to let me know if there is anything you would like to see on my blog posts. I am open to any and all ideas.

xoxo, kamee

Brooks' Birth Story

Brooks' pregnancy was by far my hardest. The struggles with sickness, body pain in every way including a hernia, and the mental battles that I faced was almost too much for me. I know without a doubt that the Lord was aware of me and made up for that which I couldn't.  The only fun part of this pregnancy was not knowing what we were having! I still cannot even believe that I did this! It was such a challenge and by 30 weeks I was aching to nest and had no clue what to nest for! In the end I absolutely loved finding out at birth and will probably do it again!  We ended up moving in June which left me traveling about an hour to my doctor for my appointments. It was 100% worth it and I WILL do it again with my last. He is the best doctor I have ever had and the nursing staff and everyone around was fantastic to say the least! Hospital included. (I'll get to them later!)  Once I got about three weeks from my due date I requested for my membranes to be s...

Gma-H and Aunt Mandee came to visit!

YAY for Gma-H and aunt Mandee visit!  Emmy loved getting to see these two and have a fun weekend shopping and at the pool! She was all smiles all weekend long! I am so glad they were able to fly out and see our family for a bit. I hardly get to see my little sister because she plays college ball in Wyoming. It's the pits!!! For being a few months since they last saw her, Emmy acted like she knew exactly who they were! I'm sooooooo grateful for such an awesome mother who really helped our family out during this trip and for her unconditional love and support for us! She is the real deal peeps :) Emmy adores her just like I do! Thanks for the GREAT weekend you two! -Love Kam & Tys What an awesome sunset we got to see on our drive home!  SHOPPING & FOOD! HAVASUPAI 2017

Havasupai was as amazing as you've imagined it would be. No expectations fell short on this gorgeous and breathtaking trip. This was the first LONG hike I have ever done! The furthest ever was a couple years ago when we hiked with some friends to seven falls in Tucson and it was only eight miles ROUND-TRIP. (clearly we have a thing for waterfalls)  The hike to the Supai Village was around 8 miles and then to get to the falls and campgrounds we hiked a couple more. I believe it's about 10 miles into campgrounds. WHAAAAT?!?! I had never hiked 10 miles anywhere and led alone having to do it in and out. THAT'S 20 people!! Not including all the walks to the bathrooms, rivers, other falls, and the drinking water spot! I don't even want to know how many miles we piled on total because.... WOOF!  FACTS ABOUT OUR EXPERIENCE:  1. It was not a difficult hike. Just long. I saw plenty of younger kids (not toddler young) at the campgrounds and in passing while h...
